The No-Mess solution to quickly wash your 1/10 and 1/8 RC tires.  

A must have for dirt oval and off-road R/C car racers.  This item is recommended if you wish to connect your tire washer to a 12V power supply to power the pump or if you already have a 3S Lipo battery.

The tire washers shipped in the Sept, 2024 listing will look a little different.  The exposed terminal strip that has been used up until now has been replaced by a waterproof box that houses the relay and most of the connections.

The old relay used a 14 volt coil where the new one is rated at 12 volts.  A side benefit of this is the ability to run the pump with a 2S lipo battery.  If you have run 1/10 scale cars, you probably have a few old 2S lipo batteries laying around that you will now find useful.

This all comes about because the "Pull In" voltage of the new relay is low enough to be run from a 2S lipo.  If you are not an EE (Electrical Engineer) or electrician, and would like an explanation of this, here is a short YouTube video that explains pull in voltage.
